Mini rant

I had a shocking night of sleep woken early and then again later when I went back to bed, the council cutting my grass at 8am wasnt nice too. Plus a taxi driver did not say thank you whilst I let him through.

lol, thats what you call a rant? You're not too good at this mate :P. Plus, wasn't that bad. We all get weird days where the odd things get to us. But seems like you're letting things get to you too much, well, on this day anyway. It's annoying when someone doesn't thank you, but to put it into (what you would call) a "rant" is a bit much :P.
